The new AP Top 25 college football poll is out. Week 3 saw some rivalries renewed and some teams hit the road for big-name matchups. However, the week was mostly devoid of upset drama. Georgia battled to a one-point win over Kentucky,

First Texas jumped Ohio State for No. 2 in the AP top 25 poll, and now the Longhorns have taken the No. 1 spot in the college football rankings from Georgia. It's the first time that Texas has been ranked the No. 1 team in the AP poll since 2008, and marks yet another sign that the Longhorns are, in fact, "back."

So far, the 2024 college football season is living up to the preseason hype, with Florida and Florida State out to 0-3 starts, Texas ranked No. 1 in the country and Notre Dame losing a home game to Northern Illinois. The craziest part is we are still just three weeks in, it’s only going to get more wild from here.
