According to Colorado’s Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE), Microchip has announced that the manufacturer is planning to reduce the workforce at its Colorado Springs location by 238 employees.

News broke Friday of the Arizona-based semiconductor manufacturer's layoff plans. Monday's filing revealed the overall number of job cuts, although it did not break them down by location.
