Joey Logano secured his third NASCAR Cup Series championship win at the Phoenix Raceway on Nov. 10. Logano won the championship after fending off Ryan Blaney, last year's cup champion and a fellow Team Penske racer. Racers jockeyed for 312 laps on the mile-long course where Logano held the lead for 107 laps.

Joey Logano won his third NACAR championship on Sunday with a relentless drive at Phoenix Raceway that gave Team Penske its third major motorsports title in less than a month.

Championship Weekend at Phoenix has marked the end of an era for many within the NASCAR garages, with retirements, long-term sponsors departing the sport, and organizations shutting down, amongst other things.

Logano became the 10th driver in NASCAR history to win three or more championships and broke a tie with Kyle Busch as the only active drivers with multiple titles.
