Efforts to contain the Jennings Creek Wildfire continued Wednesday with a new set of challenges on its sixth day near the New Jersey-New York border.

The New Jersey Forest Fire Service has stated that the Jennings Creek Forest fire, which has already burned 5,000 acres across both New York and New Jersey, has been contained by 50%. Efforts to suppress the fire were initially unsuccessful due to the dry air and conditions,
