New Brunswick RCMP are searching for two men reported to be carrying weapons in Berry Mills, which is located northwest of Moncton.

The RCMP in eastern New Brunswick have withdrawn an emergency alert about two armed men west of Moncton, saying a man that police had identified earlier in the day was no longer a suspect and public safety was not at risk.

The RCMP in eastern New Brunswick have issued an emergency alert warning the public about two men in a black pickup truck who may be armed.

The Mounties say the suspects, 50-year-old Léo Carrier and another man who hasn’t been identified, may be travelling in an older, light-coloured Ford F-150 pickup
