Singer Temilade Openiyi aka Tems won the Best African Music Performance award at the 67th Grammy ahead of Burna Boy, Asake, Davido and Yemi Alade.

Nigerian Afrobeats star Tems has secured her second Grammy Award, winning in the Best African Music Performance category.

In an emotional Grammy-award-acceptance speech on Sunday evening, Nigerian singer Tems said her "heart was beating so fast". She saw off the likes of Yemi Alade, Burna Boy and Wizkid to take home the Best African Music Performance prize for her hit Love Me Jeje.
