Razorback report: SEC names Arkansas’ Metcalf defensive player of the week
Metcalf joined Alabama safety Keon Sabb as the only SEC players with two interceptions in a game this season. He was the first Arkansas player to post interceptions in back-to-back games since Dwight McGlothern did it against Kansas in the 2022 Liberty Bowl and then Western Carolina in the 2023 season opener.

Metcalf is one of just two SEC defenders with two interceptions in a game this season, joining Alabama’s Keon Sabb. He currently ranks third nationally in interceptions per game (0.8). Through four games this season, Metcalf leads the Arkansas defense in total tackles (26), interceptions (3) and forced fumbles (1).
