Seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton says he has realized his “dream” after his first official day at Ferrari, promising “a new era” for the team.

Seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton has arrived at Ferrari’s headquarters to get down to work with his new team.

Lewis Hamilton hailed the start of “a new era” for Ferrari after clocking on at the factory in Maranello on his first day with his new team.

Hamilton will continue to embed himself within his new team on only his second day at the factory. According to Autoracer, day two will consist of technical and briefing meetings “in view of the season.” This will likely give Hamilton a chance to meet his new race engineer, Riccardo Adami.

Seven-times world champion Lewis Hamilton, Formula One's most successful driver of all time, arrived for his first day at Ferrari on Monday, and said it was a dream come true to race for the Italian team.

Ferrari welcomed Lewis Hamilton to the team's base in Maranello, Italy, for his first official day with the Scuderia on Monday, 20 January. The seven-time world champion announced his move to 12 seasons and six drivers' championship wins at Mercedes.
