About 100 riders on two other Green Line trains behind the trolleys involved in the incident were escorted about 250 feet to the nearest station, the MBTA said.

MBTA Green Line service was disrupted when two trolleys at Park Street station became hitched, causing evacuations but no injuries.

The MBTA partially shut down service on the Green Line in Boston Wednesday night because a trolley rolled back into the trolley behind it at Park Street. Approximately 100 passengers were told to get off the trolleys and walk through the tunnels to reach an exit.
