Streaming platform Fanmio has filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in California against Ryan Garcia and Golden Boy Promotions over the cancellation of an exhibition match planned for Garcia in Japan.

Ryan Garcia and Golden Boy Promotions have been sued by streaming platform Fanmio after the breakdown of their boxing exhibition in Japan. Garcia was scheduled to face Rukiya Anpo on December 31 last year.

Fanmio, a streaming platform that previously promoted a fight between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz, filed a lawsuit on Thursday against boxer Ryan Garcia after he dropped out of a scheduled exhibition bout in Japan and then booked an entirely different fight set for May in New York City.
