Doug Boles, the new president of Indianapolis Motor Speedway and IndyCar, is focusing on getting his feet underneath him and improving the series, while also reminding fans that ticket prices for the Indy 500 increase at the end of the month.

With the Indy 500 only one hundred days away, Indy Car and Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) President Doug Boles sat down with Eyewitness News’ Michael Gross to talk racing. Boles says excitement is ramping up as the 109th running of the Indy 500 approaches.

Doug Boles will serve as President of both INDYCAR and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, succeeding Jay Frye. Mark Sibla will be promoted to Senior Vice President, INDYCAR Competition & Operations. Kyle Novak will become INDYCAR’s Vice President of Officiating and Race Control.

Alex Damron has been named Chief Marketing Officer, IndyCar, while also continuing as Vice President of Corporate Communications for Penske Entertainment. Penske Entertainment has promoted Indianapolis Motor Speedway President Doug Boles to the top spot at IndyCar.

The San Jose Earthquakes signed goalkeeper Daniel to a contract extension through 2026 on Tuesday with options for 2027 and 2028.
