Good news! The N3 toll route have been reopen to traffic following heavy snowfall since Friday, 20 September. The N3 Toll Concession has confirmed that the toll route is now reopen to traffic following heavy snowfall at the weekend.

At the moment, helicopters can't fly, tow trucks can't move, and alternative routes are gridlocked and blocked by substantial snowfall.

Motorists were seen seeking refuge at petrol stations along the N3 in KZN during a heavy snowfall. Some major roads were closed temporarily.
