Vaishnavi Sharma registered the first hat-trick of Women's U-19 T20 World Cup 2025. She finished with 5/5 in her four overs including a maiden.

She achieved the feat in the group stage against Malaysia on Tuesday, January 21 in the ongoing 2025 edition of the tournament. She also took a five-wicket haul in what turned out to be a dream debut for the spinner.
