Ahead of CES 2025, I got to check out Alienware’s most exciting OLED gaming monitor yet — a 27-inch 4K model. I got to play a few rounds of Halo Infinite on the monitor at an Alienware event, and I was blown away by how sharp it looked.

Online retailers Amazon and Best Buy have discounted the 27-inch Samsung OLED G61SD by $200, allowing shoppers to grab the monitor for $600 instead of $800. A 27-inch monitor sporting a 2K OLED display is any competitive gamer's delight.

The Alienware AW2725Q uses a QD-OLED panel with a 4K resolution, which is uncommon, although not unheard of for such a small monitor. As a result, you’ll find that the AW2725Q offers 166 pixels per inch (ppi), which is the highest density currently available for a QD-OLED gaming monitor.

Just a few days after LG announced its CES 2025 lineup of monitors, Samsung is doing the same. The company just introduced several new models, and perhaps the most impressive among them is the Odyssey OLED G81SF.
