The EU is considering supplying gas to Ukraine, Hungary, Slovakia, and Moldova using Ukrainian underground storage facilities. The discussion is about 10 billion cubic meters, according to the RBC-Ukraine article.

The EU, following the example of the United States, may also ask Ukraine to return the money spent on its support. This was stated by the vice-speaker of the Slovak parliament, the head of the SNS party (Slovak National Party) Andrei Danko.

BRATISLAVA Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico is threatening to “complicate” the adoption of this week's EU summit conclusions in Brussels unless the bloc demands that Ukraine resume gas transit through its territory. Fico (Smer-SD/NI) did not explicitly state whether he would block the conclusions if his demands were not met.
