Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders could be the top quarterback taken in the 2025 NFL Draft and is the son of Hall of Fame CB and Colorado coach Deion Sanders.

The Titans are slated to pick No. 1 overall in April when the NFL draft takes place in Green Bay, Wisconsin, but the person making the selection won’t be general manager Ran Carthon, which seemed to shock one person. Colorado head coach Deion Sanders expressed surprise at the news in a post on X on Tuesday morning.

With the NFL draft order set, the rumors are already ramping up about where Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders will be selected. Sanders is expected to compete with Miami Hurricanes star Cam Ward to be the first quarterback selected in the 2025 NFL Draft .
