Miller is on his way back to the New York Rangers as the Vancouver Canucks are shipping the center for Filip Chytil, Vincent Mancini and a protected first-round draft pick per NHL insider Frank Seravalli. He has been scratched from Vancouver's lineup for Friday night's road game against the Dallas Stars.

J.T. Miller is headed back to the Rangers in a blockbuster deal with the Canucks, who will receive Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini and a 2025 first-rounder in return.

The Vancouver Canucks and New York Rangers have agreed to a trade involving J.T. Miller, the teams announced Friday. Along with Miller, the Canucks are sending Erik Brännström and Jackson Dorrington to the Rangers for Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini and a top-13 protected 2025 first-round pick.
