West Linn, one of Oregon's top teams, dominates Eagle
The Mustangs faced the toughest of the four out-of-state opponents at the Northwest Showdown at Rocky Mountain High School this weekend. Heading into the 2024 season, West Linn was one of the preseason favorites in Oregon’s top classification. It showed why against Eagle Saturday afternoon, coming away with a 51-14 victory.

But the Lions were able to overcome a slow first half and beat Washington’s Sumner XX-XX on Friday night. The Spartans — considered one of Washington’s top teams in Class 4A — held West Linn’s rabid offense from running up the score in the first half.
