Parts of Central America may see potentially catastrophic flash flooding, mudslides and loss of lives and property as a slow-moving, strengthening Tropical Storm Sara bears down on Honduras, the latest update from the National Hurricane Center.

Tropical Storm Sara formed in the western Caribbean Sea and long-range forecasts show the possibility that the storm will turn to the northeast in the Gulf of Mexico and take a path toward Florida.
