PORTER TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A West Michigan man is safe at home after getting stranded in the cold for more than four hours. On Monday, the 64-year-old Lawton man crashed his car into a tree on 22nd Street near 72nd Avenue, according to deputies with the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office.
