The Kansas City Chiefs brought back former running back Kareem Hunt to offer depth in the wake of Isiah Pacheco fracturing his fibula. With Pacheco out for the next six to eight weeks, the team currently has rookie Carson Steele and veteran Samaje Perine to lean on.

Running back Kareem Hunt is back in the Chiefs organization, but he won’t be back in the lineup this weekend. Head coach Andy Reid told reporters on Friday that Hunt will not be elevated from the practice squad for the team’s game against the Falcons. Hunt signed with the team earlier this week.

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, but they lost one of their top offensive players in running back Isiah Pacheco, who left the stadium in a walking boot after suffering a lower leg injury.
