Columbus Crew put themselves in a goal-less hole going into the second leg of the round of 16 series vs LAFC in Champions Cup.

After nearly pulling off a comeback in the second leg of the two-game, round-of-16 series against Los Angeles FC, the Crew were eliminated 4-2 on aggregate (overall goals within series).

Although Columbus Crew had a great first half and scored two goals, they came up one short to tie the series and were eliminated from the CONCACAF Champions Cup at the hands of LAFC, which awaits an opponent between the Cavaliers and Inter Miami.
