Zendaya has joined the venerable animated film series as the daughter of Shrek (Mike Myers) and Fiona (Cameron Diaz). She also joins Eddie Murphy, the voice of Donkey.

A new trailer confirms that Zendaya will voice Shrek's teenager daughter Felicia in "Shrek 5." Zendaya joins the cast alongside returners Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz. Twenty-five years after a stinky, burly green ogre first debuted on the big screen, he will be joined by his teenage daughter, voiced by none other than Zendaya.

Shrek 5, coming to theatres next December, will feature a returning cast of Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, as well as a new character with a new voice: Zendaya, playing Shrek and Fiona's daughter.
