Old families with old money — that is, families that have been in the area (including the Boston area) for a number of generations — belonged to the Eastern Yacht Club.

The Corinthian Yacht Club is a seasonal private, member-owned Yacht Club, established in 1885. We are open from April-November, with our peak season being Memorial Day-Labor Day. We offer boating, sailing, tennis, and an active pool community.
