The Marblehead (Ohio) Lighthouse is the longest continuously operating lighthouse on the Great Lakes. It was constructed in 1821. The first keeper was assigned and the light was lit in 1822.

Marblehead Lighthouse Historical Society operates two museums and a gift shop and assists with tours of the lighthouse on the Marblehead Lighthouse State Park property during the summer. We also supports activities related to the park.

The Marblehead Lighthouse Historical Society work in cooperation with and provide support for the Marblehead Lighthouse State Park, owned and operated by the State of Ohio.

The Lifesaving Station museum is a replica of the one originally built on the site of the current Marblehead Coast Guard Station. Inside is an original lifesaving boat and other artifacts from the Lifesaving Service.
